Mining Invest Albania first post.

Mining Invest Albania is a new Blog, about interesting issues and topics for minerals and mining in Albania.

Our first new topic today is:

Minerals demands in nowadays World!
The mineral industry will continue to grow in importance as more technology becomes reliant on rare earth minerals. The rising prices and trends within the mineral industry may have a great impact on day-to-day life. Minerals are in everything. We tend to look past their presence in most of our daily goods. Our swift development of computer and other micro-technologies also calls for use of rare earth minerals.

How does the mining for minerals process work?

Mining begins before any material is excavated, within the earth’s crust, where minerals are formed from a variety of chemical reactions and combinations. Throughout the mining process different minerals are extracted from the ore. At the very beginning of the mining process, companies will often rely on mine-planning software for project cost management and project reporting. The process begins when large rock materials are mined using quarrying and explosives. The boulders are then crushed to minimize the material into a smaller grain size. The mineral pieces are removed from the excavated rock material once the rock pieces have been ground down small enough. There are varying methods for extracting minerals, including emission, leaching, gravity methods, and magnetic separation. Each process leaves behind minerals that are present in everything from technological goods to health commodities. The mineral mining process is harsh, both on the equipment and the land. Equipment usually has to be repaired or replaced frequently, which is another aspect of the project that can use the help of cost estimating software. Due to the varying minerals and compounds extracted from mines, it can be hard to estimate the monetary value a mine holds until after the extraction process, no matter how good the estimate; however, mine estimating software can greatly assist in determining the overall value.

What types of minerals does the world use most?

Different types of minerals have been central to our lives throughout different points in human history, in applications as diverse as weapons manufacturing or the production of energy. In fact, many wars have been fought over minerals and natural resources. The growing demand for minerals is fueling economic growth in plenty of developing countries. The biggest rise in mineral use comes from a class called rare earth elements. These elements are crucial to the functioning of many of the world’s electronics and will see high demand in the future, especially as industries like space exploration continue to expand. Aside from rare earth minerals, any mineral that is used in the production of petroleum will be in demand for years to come. A shortage of minerals used in the production of energy will cause widespread change. Some minerals are incredibly valuable due to their rarity. For instance, the world’s gold supply is expected to run out in 2055, which will likely cause the price and value of gold to increase dramatically. Lithium is also incredibly valuable, as it is used in rechargeable batteries. The largest supply of lithium exists in Afghanistan. One of the world’s priciest gems, blue garnet, was first discovered in Madagascar.
